The combination of the built-in Barium-Kron glass material and the Dielectric coating on the prisms ensures a brighter, clearer picture even at twilight. The TwistUp eyecups allow spectacle wearers to enjoy the full field of view, as they are adjustable they also support the view without glasses. The large lens diameter of 56 mm collects ample light for bright imaging, even in poor lighting conditions. With the high 15x magnification, we recommend that you use a tripod (not included), which can be mounted quickly with the integrated tripod connection thread.To ensure that glasses wearers can comfortably view the complete field of vision of 72 m at a distance of 1,000 m, the binoculars come with Twist-up eyecups. These can be adjusted in fours steps to ensure the right distance between the eyepiece lenses and the eyes. With the dioptre compensation of +/- 4, you can also correct the difference in the visual acuity between your eyes. With rubber armouring, the binoculars will sit firmly in the hands and be protected in case of impact. Plus there’s also a padded strap for maximum comfort while en route to the next hide or observation site. The NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC 8x42 is a roof prism binocular with a magnification of 8x and an optical aperture of 42mm. A diopter adjustment allows diopter corrections up to +-2. A high quality full coating on all glass elements reduce distracting reflections and improves the light transmission and provides a high contrast particularly in bad light conditions. The binocular is built with a handy and stain resistant rubber surface. A normal tripod connection allows to fix it on a tripod for better observations. The integrated infrared lighting makes it easy to observe in complete darkness. Due to the great insight you can also observe with some distance pleasant through the night vision device. The built-in rechargeable battery allows an observation time of about 8 hours. You can charge it via the included USB cable or an optional commercial power bank.
