Product information "BRESSER Advance ICD 10x-160x Zoom Stereo Microscope"
The zoom stereo microscope BRESSER Advance ICD is suitable for a wide variety of objects. Because of the Greenough design with two tilted objectives, you can view the sample in 3D. The three-dimensional view is also very helpful when working under the microscope, e.g. when soldering, dissecting or preparing a sample.

The precise zoom enables you to view your sample in a wide range of magnifications from 1x to 4x (zoom ratio 4.0). When zooming, only slight refocussing is necessary. To do this, the Advance ICD microscope is equipped with a very precise, coaxial coarse and fine focus. The fine focus is especially helpful when using high magnifications or for imaging. When doing focus stacking with our MikroCam cameras (optional) the fine focus is also a big help.

The interpupillary distance of the eyepiece pair is adjustable. Both eyepiece holders are equipped with diopter adjustment, which allows users with bad eyesight to compensate up to 8 dpt. difference between left and right eye. The 10x wide field eyepieces have field number (FN) 22 and are equipped with soft rubber eyecups. The microscope head can be moved on the long rod of the stand, which allows you to observe big samples up to a size of 22 cm.
The angle of the bright LED reflected light illumination can be adjusted as necessary. The extra bright and even LED transmitted light provides a flat background when viewing transparent samples. The switch allows you to select reflected light, transmitted light or a combination of both to match your requirements. Brightness is adjustable with the dimmer. The bright light does not heat up, which allows you to observe also living specimens over a longer period of time. The long lasting LED is powered by a 5V AC adapter (EU/UK). The power cable comes with a USB plug.

Fully equipped, the Advance ICD covers an exceptionally wide range of magnifications and is therefore suitable for a variety of tasks. Besides the included 2x lens there is also a selection of other auxiliary objectives available. With these, you are able to adjust magnification, working distance and depth of focus according to your needs.

Magnifications in basic setting (no optional accessories):
10x eyepieces: 10x – 40x
10x eyepieces plus 2x auxiliary lens: 20x – 80x
20x eyepieces: 20x – 80x
20x eyepieces plus 2x auxiliary lens: 80x – 160x

(other magnifications are possible when using other auxiliary lenses and/or eyepieces)

The third tube is designed to permanently attach a camera. The image of the left eyepiece is diverted to the camera port with a lever/switch. We supply a selection of camera adapters for DSLR, mirrorless cameras and c-mount microscope cameras. This enables you to attach virtually any camera body as long as you have a model with interchangeable lens.

BRESSER ICD 30.5mm Widefield Eyepiece 15x
The 10x eyepiece is suitable for all microscopes with 23.2mm eyepiece tube diameter. This diameter is widely used in stereo microscopes, also from other brands or manufacturers. Please select the eyepiece magnification in correspondence to the objective you are using. A low objective magnification allows for a higher magnification of the eyepiece. For example, combined with 4x or 10x objectives, eyepieces with 20x or 25x magnification can be used without loss of image quality. With a 100x objective, a 10x or 12.5x eyepiece is usually the highest recommended eyepiece magnification. To calculate the maximum useful magnification, consider the numerical aperture (N. A.) of the objective lens: numerical aperture of the objective lens x 1000 = max. useful magnification Here is a typical example: for a 10x objective with numerical aperture NA 0.25, a maximum of 250x magnification can be realized. This is realized with a 25x eyepiece. The numerical aperture is usually printed besides the magnification factor on many objectives. Magnifications beyond the max. useful magnification do not show any further details (so-called “empty magnification”) and are therefore not recommended. BRESSER MikroCam II 20 MP 1'' Microscope Camera
The BRESSER MikroCam II 20 MP 1’’ microscope camera is the professional solution when it comes to microscope imaging. This camera has a big 1’’ sensor (image area 13.6 x 8.8 mm); this is the biggest sensor of the MikroCam camera range. With this camera it is possible to document roughly the same field of view as it can be seen through the eyepiece (e.g. when using a 10x / 22mm). Other models will cover only 50% or less of the eyepiece field of view. The Sony IMX183 CMOS-sensor is very sensitive and has extremely low image noise, which makes this camera especially suitable for contrast methods like dark field or phase contrast. The MikroCam Lab II software comes with a wide range of professional functions, e.g. measurements in live view (calibration slide needed), mosaic, Focus-Stacking (for improved depth of field). All automatic functions (exposure time, gain, white balance etc) can be adjusted manually as well. Due to the big sensor size the camera will not work with all microscope models. It might be possible that the optics will not illuminate the full sensor, so you experience vignetting. Usually this can be resolved by using the optional 1x optical adapter (item no. 5914001). Please note that this camera model is not suitable for the stereo microscope BRESSER Science ETD-201. It will cover only a small field of view. BRESSER MikroCamII 9MP 4K 1'' Microscope Camera
Capture 4K video with the BRESSER MikroCamII 9MP 4K microscope camera. The video can be up to 30 fps depending on the PC used. The camera uses a global shutter, which captures moving objects without distortion. The big image sensor (14.13 x 7.45mm) captures a big field of view. The high light sensitivity of the Sony® IMX305 CMOS-sensor produces excellent images even when using darkfield or phase contrast. The BRESSER MikroCamLabII software includes a variety of useful functions, e.g. measuring in live mode (optional calibration slide needed), mosaic/stitching, focus stacking (for extended depth of field). All camera parameters (exposure time, gain, white balance) can be set manually.Mosaic and focus stacking can be done in live mode, which gives instant results even for unexperienced users. The method is also much faster than the normal procedure where a set of images is rendered afterwards. BRESSER MikroCamII 5MP HIS Microscope Camera
The BRESSER MikroCamII 5MP HIS with the light sensitive and low-noise Sony® IMX264 sensor is perfectly suited for low light applications. The camera uses a global shutter, which captures moving objects without distortion. With sufficient lighting, the camera is also capable of ultra short exposures as low as 1/50.000 second. In this mode, the camera can virtually freeze fast moving objects. The BRESSER MikroCamLabII software includes a variety of useful functions, e.g. measuring in live mode (optional calibration slide needed), mosaic/stitching, focus stacking (for extended depth of field). All camera parameters (exposure time, gain, white balance) can be set manually. Mosaic and focus stacking can be done in live mode, which gives instant results even for unexperienced users. The method is also much faster than the normal procedure where a set of images is rendered afterwards. To use the mosaic function in live mode, a crosstable / mechanical desk is highly recommended to move the sample. The big camera sensor is not compatible with all microscope models. It might lead to vignetting (dark edges). To compensate this, a 1.0x optical adapter (item code 5914001) is recommended. It is supplied with a comprehensive range of accessories. Thanks to the integrated LED incident light illumination, even opaque objects can be viewed without time-consuming preparation. Objects up to 3mm high can be viewed, e.g. small insects, plant parts, sand and much more. This allows children in particular a quick and uncomplicated introduction into microscopy.Transmitted light microscopy then opens up the world of cells and microorganisms. It doesn't just have to be permanent specimens; an onion skin, tiny moss leaves or water plant leaves already clearly show the structure of the plant cells. Water samples from a pond, aquarium or watering can contain numerous ciliates, rotifers and other protozoa. There is a lot to discover with the BRESSER LCD microscope, and several people can always relax and observe on the screen at the same time.FEATURESType: Biological microscope for transmission/IncidentIllumination: LED, AC PowerColor filterwheel: red, green (bright, dark), yellow, blueCamera resolution: 5MPSCOPE OF DELIVERYMicroscope4x/10x/40x objectivesmechanical desk with noniusUSB cableColor filter wheel5 permanent samples / slides10 blank slides20 cover glassesLarge accessory pack with yeast, gum media, sea salt, artemia eggs, scissor, tweezers, pipette, 2 preparing needles, microtome, hatchery with magnifying lid

BRESSER MikroCamII Microscope Camera 12MP USB 3.0
The BRESSER MikroCamII microscope cameras help to make photos and videos with a microscope very easy. The modern Sony® CMOS sensors give brilliant colours with very low noise and is the perfect choice for any application where true natural colours are important. The included imaging software has multiple adjustments for the capture of still images and videos. The integrated measuring* routine allows for a measurement in the camera live image. The software can be operated in the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Chinese. The camera housing includes the c-mount adapter thread. For use with 23.2 mm adaptations, we recommend the optional, variable 0,5x reducer (item no. 5914005). For special applications, the camera can also be mounted using the 1/4'' camera tripod thread. The BRESSER MikroCamII are equipped with a USB 3.0 port, compared to the MikroCam SP. This enables up to 8 times faster data transfers to the PC compared with the USB 2.0 standard. The camera is able to deliver more than 25 frames per second (depending on resolution, exposure time and PC performance). This is especially important when observing live microorganisms. In addition to this, the camera is exceptionally sensitive. Even in low light conditions (high magnifications, contrast methods) the camera can be operated with short exposure times.
