The MOBILE PORTA is a small transportable travel mount for fast observations and does not require time-consuming installation.
Thanks to the new compact and lightweight design, it is ready for use in no time and is easy to transport.
The angle of the new multi arm can be adjusted, allowing you to observe at the zenith - including with longer telescopes.

The telescope can be moved by hand in all directions and is held in position by a slip clutch. This allows you to adjust the telescope to your desired object with ease.

In addition to these new functions, the mount also comes with the other tried-and-tested features of the Porta series, such as a slip clutch and fine adjustment.

The angle of the new multi arm can be adjusted, allowing you to observe at the zenith - including with longer telescopes. The angle of the multi arm can be adjusted in 15-degree steps. The multi arm system also enables you to collapse the mount for easy transport and storage, e.g. in the Telescope and Tripod Bag 100 (item no. 35655).
As with all Vixen mounts, the MOBILE PORTA mount uses the Vixen world standard dovetail adapter for the telescope connection. The MOBILE PORTA is recommended for telescopes with a maximum weight of 3.5 kg.
The accessory holder features slots for your eyepieces. It can also be used to store smaller photography accessories. The holder is mounted via a centrally positioned screw.

Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations.
In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light.
With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light.
Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness.
The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem.
However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. On our new astronomy LED light, the SG-L02, the LED lights produce warm light to improve visibility.
They also ensure that your eyes stay adapted to the dark.
The LEDs do not emit light in the sensitive range of 555 nm.
The brightness of the white light can be adjusted between 3 and 42 lumen, while the red light can be adjusted between 0.28 and 7.62 lumen.

All the BRESSER Plössl eyepieces provide sharp and high-contrast images because of the 4-lens design. All lenses have fully-multicoated surfaces which prevents reflections efficiently. Every eyepiece is equipped with a foldable rubber eyecup to avoid straylight from the sides and the inner eyepiece shaft is carefully blackened as well. Housing and eyepiece shaft are completely made from metal - no plastic is used. Filter thread for use with colour- and nebular filters is also available.
All these Plössl eyepieces offer a much better image quality than all the very simple made Kellner and Huygens eyepieces.

Besides air turbulence, the brightening of the night sky is the biggest obstacle to observing faint objects beyond the solar system. Street lamps and other artificial lighting mean that the sky in human settlements is no longer really black. This affects the contrast and thus the perception of deep-sky objects. Depending on the type of celestial object, however, part of disturbing artificial light can be filtered out, making it easier to observe fainter targets.The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC CITY LIGHT SUPRESSION - or CLS - filter uses the fact that the artificial lighting is not evenly distributed over the entire spectrum. BRESSER Twilight I telescope mount with tripod

The Twilight I is a light-to-medium-duty alt-azimuth mount with tripod designed to quickly and easily accept small to medium sized refractors, such as the AR102 + AR127s or ED102mm + ED127, and of course, the ED80mm. Lightweight, fast Newtonians will also match up nicely with the BRESSER Twilight I mount. As long as your telescope does not exceed 18 pounds and has a Vixen-Style Universal Dovetail bar for mounting the telescope to the mount head, you are good to go. The Twilight I alt-azimuth mount head is made of powder-coated aluminum and there are worm gears on both axes. The adjustable angle head can be tilted forward or back at a 45° angle to allow more clearance for your telescope so you can point it straight up for viewing at the zenith. The Allen hex wrench for doing the mount head adjustment can be safely stored at the integrated magnetic holder. Slow-motion control cables are attached on the vertical and horizontal axes, and are easy to turn during the night, even with gloves on, due to the over-sized knurled knobs that are attached to the end of each cable. They can be attached to either side of each axis to accommodate right or left-handed users, or different types of telescopes (e.g. refractors vs. Newtonian reflectors) for ease of adjustment. The stainless steel tripod that comes standard with the Twilight I mount has adjustable legs and a wide foot print of 42 inches, which makes the tripod more stable. The f8.0 refractor contains a central ED lens in the objective and reduces chromatic aberration to an absolute minimum.

The new BRESSER NANO AZ telescopic mount has been developed to ensure quick and easy operation. The mount is as easy to use as a photo tripod, it is just more stable and easily carries telescopes weighing up to 4 kg. The mount can be easily swivelled by hand to the left, right, up and down, making it really easy to use and with a weight of only 3.4kg, the mount is also easy to transport. Ideal for the easy entry, as a travel mount or for "quick observations". The telescopes are securely held by a clamp for 44mm prism rails, the so-called GP Level. This is an international manufacturer-independent standard, whereby all telescopes with such a GP prism rail can be installed on this mount. For example our BRESSER MESSIER lens telescopes AR-90s, AR-102xs, AR-102s, or our small Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes MC-90 and MC-102. Of course just as suitable for small Apo's as the EXPLORE-SCIENTIFIC ED-80 series.
